Rock Star-Radio Host WWII Book Club: Back in April, at an Urban Improv event in Boston, Emily got to chatting with a fellow named Tom about their shared fascination with the second World War. When she found out he was reading and enjoying Hugh Ambrose’s The Pacific, she said she’d like to read it and suggested he read her father Andy Rooney’s WWII memoir, My War. When they were both finished with their respective tomes – they resolved – he’d join her on her radio show to debrief. So here we are, eight months later.
