WGBH Invites Community to Two Summer Events on Saturday, July 15

 

WGBH FunFest offers a celebration of summer with family fun and New England ice cream vendors from 10am - 4pm;

WGBH Craft Beer Fest features New England’s best craft breweries and live music from 7 - 10pm

WGBH FunFest

When: Saturday, July 15, 10am – 4pm

Where: Outdoors at WGBH (One Guest Street, Brighton)

Tickets: Individual tickets are $10 and a family four-pack is $35. Purchase tickets online at wgbh.org/events.

The WGBH FunFest, a day-long celebration with ice cream and music, returns Saturday, July 15, from 10am to 4pm at WGBH in Boston. This fun-filled community event will feature family-friendly entertainers like Ben Rudnick and Friends, Matt Heaton and Semi Good Lookin’. Kids can participate in interactive games and enjoy face painting, inflatable rides and more! Beloved PBS characters Curious George, Arthur, Clifford, Super Why and Word Girl will be there to join in the festivities. Ice cream vendors include J.P. Licks, FoMu, Friendly’s, Sub Zero and more. Guests will be able to purchase food from the Roxy’s Grilled Cheese and Karo’s BBQ food trucks.

WGBH Craft Beer Fest

When: Saturday, July 15, 7 – 10pm

Where: Outdoors at WGBH (One Guest Street, Brighton)

Tickets: WGBH members can purchase tickets for $40; non-member tickets available for $50. Purchase tickets online at wgbh.org/events.

Celebrate WGBH’s annual Craft Beer Festival with fellow beer and cider aficionados. Sample brews from breweries such as Aeronaut, Idle Hands, Bantam Cider, Ipswich Ale, Cambridge Brewing Co. and more. Then, head to the photo booth and get creative. The event will feature live entertainment from acts like The New Rockwells. Guests will be able to purchase food from the Karo’s BBQ food truck. Must be 21+ to attend.

Volunteers Needed
