Hi, I'm not Ellen Kushner, but I do play her on the Internet.

Every week, I host an hour of public radio that's not quite like anything else. We thought for a long time, and finally came up with the title "Sound & Spirit". The program is a lot harder to describe than it should be. But the human spirit does not exist in soundbites...you can't capture the essence of music in one perfect sentence...

It takes us an hour every week just to scratch the surface of the music and myth and poetry and belief that make up a given topic.

The search for Sound & Spirit is a journey that lasts a lifetime - and that lasts as long as humanity will. I'm very proud to be embarked on that journey, and hope you'll join me on your public radio station to catch what we're trying to do.
