Wendy Ewald's Collaborative Photography For over thirty years, photographer Wendy Ewald has worked collaboratively with children around the world to create a portrait of childhood. While her techniques varyfrom giving kids cameras to having them write on images to formulating with them how they wish to appearall her work shares a keen focus on the voice of the subject. In the May 2002 episode, Greater Boston Arts speaks with Ewald and Adam Weinberg, co-curator of her internationally-travelling retrospective entitled "Secret Games," about her unusual approach of sharing the picture making process. Below are excerpts from these interviews.
