Gunther Schuller's long and multifaceted career involves a dizzying array of activities in the music world: Schuller is a composer, a conductor, a performer, a teacher, a record producer and an author. On the occasion of his 75th birthday, Greater Boston Arts spoke with Schuller, Boston Globe music critic Richard Dyer, and composer and New England Conservatory faculty member John Heiss to learn more about the contributions of one of Boston's musical legends.
