A new survey says we have fears, but are optimistic overall

How are Americans 60 and older thinking about aging? What do they fear, how are they living and what do they enjoy?

Their answers and attitudes are revealed in the annual United States of Aging survey, released July 8.  While boomers have some grave concerns about how they’ll afford health care and whether their communities will help them as they age, they also are content with their friends and families and generally optimistic about the future.
