Etess is the public face of Mohegan Sun, and a proponent of the casino's proposed expansion into Palmer, Massachusetts, where MTGA has opened an office and leased over 150 acres of land. He has stated that a high-quality destination resort will result in tax revenues through gaming, sales, employee income, and property taxes.
