 WGBH Fraser Studio and Facilities was donated for the live Henry Butler Performance at the VSA Visibility All-Day Conference on May 26,2009.

The conference included a discussion forum, reception, and concert featuring New Orleans piano legend Henry Butler and aimed to raise awareness for arts-infused instruction for students with and without disabilities. Butler’s performance took place in WGBH’s state-of-the-art Fraser Performance Studio, Boston’s largest recording facility. The concert was recorded for future broadcast on WGBH 89.7.

Avery Sharpe recorded his new CD, Autumn Moonlight, in Fraser for JKNMRecords, distributed by AllegroMusic.com, scheduled for release on April 14, 2009. The acoustic trio recording features Avery on bass with longtime associates Onaje Allan Gumbs on piano and Winard Harper on drums.
