As a division of the Finance Department, the Production Finance and Grants Administration Department oversees and manages grants and funding contracts for WGBH Educational Foundation productions. This includes supporting proposal submission, budgeting, financial management, reporting, tracking and compliance for all restricted grants.


Internship Description:

This internship offers a great chance to work within a non-profit organization to support and gain firsthand knowledge in grant administration and grants accounting.

Duties will include supporting our internal federal cash request compliance process, correspondence and mailings, and general administrative support.

Skills Preferred:

  • Pro-active, detailed oriented, organized self-starter
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills
  • Should possess the capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Support the Grants Administration team in their day to day functions with specific tasks to support Grants Managers and the Grants Accountant.
  • A background in accounting is helpful, but not necessary
  • Microsoft Office skills are required
  • Intermediate or advanced Excel skills and the ability to perform lookups, pivots, and other formulas
