Internship Description: 
The position involves assisting in day-to-day duties within the MASTERPIECE unit, including: organizing and logging media materials, awards submissions, general administrative duties, archive research, helping to prepare shows for broadcast, and providing support to the MASTERPIECE team as needed.
The intern will also have the opportunity to attend production meetings and screenings, attend online editing sessions.
This internship will provide insight into television production and acquisitions for an ongoing television series. Intern will be familiarized with the process of producing content with PBS. Will likely have the opportunity to attend all-staff meetings and institutional gatherings, and gain knowledge of the general workings of WGBH.
Skills Preferred:

  • interested in working in the production offices of an ongoing television series
  • Should be highly organized, as well as a strong written and oral communicator
  • Must be able to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Television production experience is helpful, but not required. A desire to work in television should be demonstrated.
