FRONTLINE TV Production

Since 1983, FRONTLINE has served as PBS's flagship public affairs series. Hailed upon its debut as the last best hope for broadcast documentaries, FRONTLINE's stature over 30 seasons is reaffirmed each week through incisive documentaries covering the scope and the complexity of the human experience. The FRONTLINE editorial team oversees the production of 20 new programs a season.

Internship Description:

Reporting to Frontline’s Editorial Research Manager, you’ll help with Frontline’s fact checking process.  You’ll also learn answers to production questions like  - What is public domain?  What does ‘fair use’ mean?  You will help with various day-to-day assignments, but in general the internship is set up for on the job learning. The internship requires 16-24 hours per week and is unpaid.


Skills Preferred:

  • Interested in journalism
  • Have outstanding internet sleuthing skills
  • Must enjoy watching documentaries with a critical eye
