Critics Say US Goals In Libya Unclear
Since Saturday, the US and its allies have been attacking forces loyal to Libyan ruler Moammar Gadhafi. Allied forces seem to be on the verge of securing Libya’s airspace, but pro-Gadhafi troops continue to attack cities loyal to the opposition. As action in Libya enters into day number four, critics are expressing reservations about our mission there and concern that getting out might not be as easy as getting in. We're joined by one of those critics, Andrew Bacevich, professor of history and international relations at Boston University and author of the book Washington Rules: America’s Path to Permanent War.
