Before Leaving Office, Aides To Gov. Romney Purged Hard Drives
According to a new report from the Boston Globe, before exiting the governor’s office, aides to Mitt Romney reportedly purchased their state-issued hard drives and wiped out all of their e-mails. While it’s not immediately clear that the mass purging violated public records laws, what was the impetus? And what – if anything – should voters should make of it? Does it/should it raise red flags about transparency in the former governor's administration?
