Extremes seemed to be the prevailing theme this week. A new report confirms that income inequality has skyrocketed over the last three decades, while the beleaguered stock market takes an unusualturn for the better. Meantime, President Obama rolls out executive orders aimed at helping underwater homeowners and students. Plus, Occupy demonstrations continue – and in some places: get ugly. Noteworthy shakeups in the Bay State’s ruling Democratic party, as Alan Khazei and Rep. John Olver bow out of their respective races. And of course, thumbs up, thumbs down on hot button issues like public prayer and making movies about mass murderers.
