A Burned Black Church, Two Years Later: Hours after the election of the first black president, Bishop Bryant Robinson found that his Springfield church had been set on fire by three white men. Since then volunteers have come from across the country to lend a hand in rebuilding the church, which is slated to re-open in the spring. Bishop Robinson joins us to talk about the incident, and his efforts to move beyond the hate crime.
Tipping: The cultural practice leads to controversies, confusion, and often times a living wage. We'll take on the many dimensions of tipping with two experts at our side, Margo Howard, syndicated advice columnist; and Dan Ariely, Professor of Behavioral Economics at Duke University. We'll look at when and how much it is appropriate to tip, how the recession impacts our tipping etiquette and behavior, and whether countries that don't tip are better off without it. You can weigh in with your stories and opinions during the live show. Call 877-301-8970 to join the conversation.
