Tom Dresser is the author of "African Americans on Martha's Vineyard: From Enslavement to Presidential Visit;" and Robert C. Hayden wrote “African Americans on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.”
Food Trucks: Gourmet food trucks serving everything from Japanese Hot Dogs to Duck Tacos are becoming a staple of street life in many cities. We'll ask two food truck experts whether the recession explains this trend, and how food trucks are inspiring innovations of all kinds. We're joined by Katie Robbins, a freelance writer based in Los Angeles, who wrote a piece for The Atlantic, “The Food Truck Economy;" and Gina Stanley, chef/owner of ArtCliff Diner in Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard.
