The History Of African Americans on Martha’s Vineyard: Martha's Vineyard was a vacation spot and a year-round home for African Americans long before President Obama vacationed there. We talk with two authors who have written about the epic history of African Americans on the Vineyard. Tom Dresser is the author of "African Americans on Martha's Vineyard: From Enslavement to Presidential Visit;" and Robert C. Hayden wrote “African Americans on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.”
Food Trucks: Gourmet food trucks serving everything from Japanese Hot Dogs to Duck Tacos are becoming a staple of street life in many cities. We'll ask two food truck experts whether the recession explains this trend, and how food trucks are inspiring innovations of all kinds.
