Firefighters and the Gender/Race Divide: Karen Miller was the first African American Female Firefighter in Boston when she joined the force in 1985. Although today's force is much more diverse, each individual unit is still very segregated. Karen Miller joins us to talk about her experience, and her work to diversify the force as executive director for the Boston Society Of Vulcans.
