In Boston, debate is brewing where Segways should be allowed to roam. North End residents have been complaining that Boston Gliders, a Segway tour company, sends inexperienced Segway drivers barreling down narrow sidewalks. The company contends that they’ve run more than 8,000 Segway tours in without a single crash or serious injury. The Boston City Council is considering banning the use of Segways on the Rose Kennedy Greenway.
