Richard Egarr has had an illustrious career as a harpsichordist and conductor. He is a skilled keyboardist specializing in a range of repertoire, from 15th-century organ intabulations on early pianos to twentieth-century works on modern pianos. When he came to our studios in February, he played a program that showcased harpsichord music of the Baroque era, and discussed the merits of being able to pick and choose which movements you want to play.
