Classical Performance Podcast: Boston Chamber Music Society plays Schumann

Schumann read fairy tales to his own children, and was inspired to create musical fairy tales of his own. He didn't reveal the specific stories he was trying to evoke in this music, but the imagination can roam as the viola and clarinet penetrate the fairy world with their rich, dark colors.
