Don't dream it, be it. Those words of wisdom come courtesy of Dr. Frankenfurter in the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture show. And if a cult film is an odd place to look for inspiration – it's also fitting one. This weekend, more than 60 aspiring New England filmmakers will descend on Providence, Rhode Island to make their dream of making a movie a reality. There's just one catch. They have to do it all from scratch in just 48 hours. If it sounds like a mad scramble… it is.
Extra: Watch some of the winning films.
Guests:
Michael McVey, winner of the Best Film award at the 2012 Boston 48 Hour Film Project and founder of Skiffleboom Productions
Mark Green, Providence producer of the 48 Hour Film Project
