We examine how Americans’ approach to the world is changing. Once, through programs like The Marshall Plan, the U.S. wanted to be part of recreating other countries.
Now, wearied by war and terrorism, we look at whether Americans are turning inwards. Are we seeking only to modernize our own nation? And how successful is that effort proving?
