Today, NPR CEO Vivian Schiller (no relation) resigned. The NPR board released a statement saying in part, "Vivian was passionately committed to NPR’s mission, and to stations and NPR working collaboratively as a local-national news network. “ Schiller herself had no comment but the resignation follows a number of embarrassing episodes for NPR, including the firing of Juan Williams last fall.
