Wednesday, September 10: Opening Chef’s Gala Reception Prep
Position: Set Volunteer
Position Description: Responsibilities of a Set Volunteer include setting up tables, steaming tablecloths, deploying materials to different vendor stations and placing signage around Calderwood Studio. Set volunteers must be able to lift at least 20 pounds and be able to be on your feet for extended time.
Shift: 11am-3pm

Thursday, September 11: Opening Chef’s Gala Reception Set-up
Position: Set Volunteer (please refer to 9/10 position description)
Shift: 12-4pm

Thursday, September 11: Opening Chef’s Gala Reception
Positions: Wine Pourers (must be TIPS certified), Floor Service (WGBH Volunteers must be 21+ to participate)
Shift: 5-10:30pm

Thursday, September 11: Opening Chef’s Gala Reception Breakdown
Position: Breakdown Volunteer
Shift: 10pm-12am (Breakdown volunteers will receive a FREE ticket to the Artisan Taste)
Position Description: Responsibilities of a Breakdown Volunteer include folding and stacking tables, removing tablecloths, returning materials to catering kitchen, taking down signage around Calderwood Studio, etc. Breakdown volunteers must be able to lift at least 20 pounds and be able to be on your feet for extended time.

Friday, September 12: The Artisan Taste Tent Set-up
Position: Set Volunteer (please refer to 9/10 position description)
Two Shifts Available: 6-10pm (Set volunteers will receive a FREE ticket to the Artisan Taste)

Saturday, September 13: The Artisan Taste Tent and Farmer’s Market Set-up and Exhibitor Welcome
Position: Set & Greeter Volunteer Position
Description: Responsibilities of a Set & Greeter Volunteer include last-minute set-up tasks and greeting and leading Artisan Taste exhibitors to designated area within the tent. Volunteers will also assist the Farmer’s Market vendors in finding their spots. Set volunteers must be able to lift at least 20 pounds and be able to be on your feet for extended time.
Shift: 9am-noon

Saturday, September 13: The Artisan Taste Event
Positions: Table Runners (refill water pitchers, empty spittoons, assist wineries with other requests) (WGBH Volunteers must be 21+ to participate)
Two Shifts Available: 11:30am-5pm or 3:30-9pm
**Please share if you’ve had prior customer service and/or food service experience…a definite PLUS.

Sunday, September 14: Brunch Bar and Farmer’s Market Set-up and Exhibitor Welcome
Position: Set & Greeter Volunteer (please refer to 9/13 position description)
Shift: 8-11am

Sunday, September 14: Food & Wine Festival Educational Seminars
Positions: Set-up (help with seminar set-up and cleanup; distribute seminar info to guests)
Shift: 12-4pm
