This is a two-part event: Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017 (Part One) and Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 (Part Two)

WGBH and Boston Public Library present a two-part conversation with certified financial planner Eric Roberge about ways to get the most out of your money. Learn to prioritize your goals and create a process to keep you on track, regardless of what life throws at you.

Become financially fit. Eric will be at the WGBH Studio at the Boston Public Library to share the toolkit to get you there. Bring your questions, and start to create your plan for financial freedom.

Part One: The Basics (6pm-8pm, Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017)
In Part One, master the essentials of money management. How do you save for retirement when you are still paying student loans? Should you take the job you love or the one that pays more? How should you be managing your debt?

Part Two: Investing (6pm-8pm, Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017)
In Part Two, explore the various ways to grow your money through investing it, and understand the associated risks. Should you invest in your employer's retirement account, buy real estate or open a brokerage account? Learn what you should be doing with your money today to create financial freedom tomorrow.

This program is sponsored by Bank of America, and presented by the Kirstein Business Library & Innovation Center in partnership with WGBH
