Stories from the Stage explores the art of storytelling with speakers addressing universal themes—from personal stories of immigration to a simple concept, like "Chance."  Hosted by Theresa Okokon and Wes Hazard, each episode includes interviews with the storytellers, and comments and stories from the audience. Tonight’s theme, Chance, could mean possibilities, risk or opportunity: Rodrigue Kalambayi seeks asylum from political violence in the Congo; Korean-American Eson Kimisheld at gunpoint in her family's hardware storein New York; and Christine Gentry donates a kidney to a complete stranger.

Tune in WGBH World tonight at 6:30 pm, and come watch the performances as they are taped live in the WGBH Atrium in Brighton.
