In 2013, the UN General Assembly endorsed the resolution of the UNESCO General Conference, proclaiming February 13, the day United Nations Radio was established in 1946, as World Radio Day. And we couldn’t be happier to celebrate with you, our listeners! Every day, we fill the airwaves with great current affairs programing such as Boston Public Radio, The Takeaway and The World on 89.7 WGBH. And on 99.5 WCRB, we broadcast the best of the classical music cannon, much of it played here in Boston by such legendary institutions as the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Handel & Haydn Society. Tune in!
