The popular, if grumpy, Doc Martin is back for the seventh season of stories about life in the charming fishing village of Portwenn. Martin Clunes reprises his role as Dr. Martin Ellingham, the G.P. with a brusque bedside manner and a phobia of blood. At the end of season six, Louisa (Caroline Catz) left for a break to visit her mother in Spain, to have some time to think and get some perspective on their relationship. Heartbroken, Martin is ready to make some changes and win his family back.  Will Louisa return to him? Come through and find out!

We’re excited to give Doc Martin fans a special gift: it’s a sneak preview of the highly anticipated seventh (and allegedly final) season! In the first episode, Rescue Me, Martin is heartbroken after Louisa left to visit her mother in Spain to gain some perspective on her marriage. The new series finds him ready to make some changes and win his family back.

Martin Clunes reprises his role as Dr. Martin Ellingham, the GP with a brusque bedside manner and a phobia of blood. Also returning are Caroline Catz (Louisa), Dame Eileen Atkins (Aunt Ruth) and guest stars, including Sigourney Weaver.

Catch the season premiere tonight at 9pm on WGBX 44 (more airings), and stay tuned to see the rest, coming in March, 2016!
