The International Union of Architects named the first Monday of October World Architecture Day. This year’s theme is “Climate Change Action!”

As designers and architects take on the challenges that rising ocean levels bring to our costal city, our mural highlights three local examples of architectural diversity: Trinity Church in Colpey Square is one of the most significant buildings in Richardsonian Romanesque style. Boston City Hall is a controversial example of Brutalism, and the Stata Center at MIT represents modern experimentalism.
