The internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang performs a love letter to New York, his adoptive home, with the music that helped make the city so famous. Capturing New York’s unique atmosphere, the concert features music from Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Danny Elfman, Lou Reed, Alicia Keys and Don Henley, including a rare performance of the original 1924 jazz band arrangement of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Joining Lang Lang are a 30-piece orchestra and celebrated artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Regina Spektor and Suzanne Vega.

Watch Live From Lincoln Center tonight at 9pm on WGBH 2.
