Joseph Nelson, Local Historian - 1975
Joesph Nelson has met many prominent people (W.E.B. DuBois, William Monroe Trotter, Paul Robeson, Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia) and talks about his friendship with Josephine Baker, whom he first met when she came to Boston in 1925. He later won a scholarship to go to Paris and he got to meet up with her. In 1930 he went back to Paris and saw her again.
