Miriam Makeba on being Mrs. Stokely Carmichael - 1971
In this excerpt from a 1971 interview with Miriam Makeba, she talks about how her marriage to Stokely Carmichael has affected her singing career. "We have clippings of it, where people say, 'We cannot support someone who is married to somebody who wants to destroy the United States.' But of course I love him. It doesn't bother me."
