BOSTON — We all face personal struggles and find different ways to process them. Talking to friends, meeting with a counselor, and perhaps journaling.

But when you have a serious medical condition, it stimulates an added dimension, more layers, and ongoing stages of self-discovery.

Morning Edition host Bob Seay spoke with David Freudberg, host of the WGBH Radio program Humankind, who shares how journaling can be a more personal approach to healing.
