BOSTON — A judge has delayed ruling whether to grant bail for the longtime girlfriend of former Boston crime boss James "Whitey" Bulger.
The decision came Wednesday at the end of a two-day detention hearing for Catherine Greig. She is charged with harboring a fugitive after allegedly helping Bulger evade capture during the 16 years they were on the run together.

FBI Special Agent Michael Carazza was called to answer questions about Greig and Bulger's life on the run.
Bulger and Greig lived in apartment since 98, 99 but were gone for stretches. greig paid bills. Paid rent in cash.
Greig told hairdresser she liked "bad boys".
Friends of Bulger and Greig in Louisiana said Greig was "very subservient" to #whiteybulger.
Bulger and Greig had separate bedrooms. No contraband found in her room.
During the hearing, Bulger's former associate Kevin Weeks was also called to testify. He said Greig was not an active associate of Bulger's alleged mob activity.
Weeks: Greig never violent. Whitey never brought her into business dealings.
Next, four families gave victims' statements.
Greig twin wiping eyes and blowing nose right in front of me. Seemed bothered by victim statements.
In closing, prosecutors argued Greig is a flight risk and should not be granted bail.
Government: Greig may face more charges like conspiracy, illegal weapons, identity theft, etc. More reason to run.
Greig's defense lawyer, Kevin Reddington, said his client was not the "mastermind" behind Bulger's disappearance.
Defense: Greig's "only crime is a crime of passion. Of falling in love."
Greig's lawyer told the judge his client would agree to be voluntarily held while he gathers more information to argue for her eventual release. Kevin Reddington said he wanted to submit a full background report through the court's pretrial services division.
