Chosen at random from 884 entries, Dunne won 30 Years Outside the Box, a limited-edition box that celebrates Yo-Yo Ma’s 30th anniversary with Sony Classical, with 90 CDs and a 312-page hard-bound book with rare archival photos, essays, full track lists, original liner notes, and more, all housed in an elegant velvet-lined, numbered box.
Upon finding out that he had won, Dunne told Cathy Fuller that his daughter is a cellist, but that he had been a fan of Yo-Yo Ma since before she was born.
Hear Classical New England's Cathy Fuller notifying Edward Dunne that he was the prize winner:
Thanks for listening Ed, and enjoy the hours and hours of music in 30 Years Outside the Box!
Classical New England would like to thank online music store Ariama for its help in the Month of Yo-Yo Ma contest and celebration.
