Chef Jose’s “Pico de Gallo” on the Bristol Burger
Try this at home: The Bristol Burger
The juicy tomatoes, crisp onions, and fresh lime juice in this salsa can add color and kick to any meal.
Ingredients
2 vine ripe tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup lime juice
4 oz. olive oil
2 oz. blended oil
1/2 oz. Tabasco sauce
3 oz. cumin
4 oz. chili powder
Salt (to taste)
Directions
Combine the tomatoes, red onions, and cilantro in a mixing bowl. Add the lime juice, olive oil, blended oil, and Tabasco sauce.
Finish by seasoning with the spices and mixing well with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula.
Refrigerate and store for no longer than 2 days.
Serves: 2 to 3
