In an archival session from 1991, the vibraphonist gets together with host Marian McPartland for a performance of his own standard, "Bags' Groove."

Vibraphonist Milt "Bags" Jackson would have been 90 this year. A member of the Modern Jazz Quartet, he also worked with Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Wes Montgomery and many more. In this 1991 session, Jackson performs "Stardust" and "Nature Boy," and gets together with host Marian McPartland for a performance of his own standard, "Bags' Groove."
