Singer-songwriter and guitarist Jesse Harris makes his fourth appearance on Mountain Stage, recorded live at the Culture Center Theater in Charleston, W.V.

Harris first appeared on Mountain Stage in the mid-'90s as part of the folk-pop duo Once Blue. By the time he returned for this show nearly a decade later, Harris had earned a Grammy for writing the title song from Norah Jones' breakout album Come Away With Me. Harris also composed the score and acted in the Ethan Hawke film The Hottest State; the soundtrack features versions of Harris' songs performed by Willie Nelson, Bright Eyes, The Black Keys, Feist and Emmylou Harris. His latest album, Sub Rosa, was recorded in Rio de Janeiro with an all-star cast of Brazilian musicians. He's backed here by his friend Bill Dobrow on percussion.

Jesse Harris is followed by Julie Adams and the Mountain Stage band, performing Elvis Costello's classic "Blame It on Cain."
