The mixologists at ReBar in Phoenix, cut back on the alcohol and focus on organic, multi-distilled spirits and fresh citrus to brighten this mixer-free spin on a margarita. It has about 100 calories, a fraction of what you'd find in the typical citrus-sour treat.
1 ounce vodka
1 lime, juiced
Splash fresh orange juice
2 ounces calorie-free citrus soda
2 ounces club soda
Lime wedge (garnish)
Mix vodka and juices in a cocktail shaker with 1 cup of ice. Strain into a tall glass. Finish with sodas. Garnish with lime. [Copyright 2012 National Public Radio]
